Russia’s baseball team is back in the UK, but the uniforms will no longer be made in the country.
The Russian Baseball Federation (RFU) announced on Thursday that they will no long be made exclusively in Russia.
It comes after a year of protests over their uniforms, which the RFU said were not sufficiently “appropriate” for the country’s current climate.
The team had also been forced to drop the word “banned” from the team name, which has become an insult in the Russian capital.
In a statement on Twitter, the RFUs chief executive Alexander Zharov said that the team is looking to rebrand, which is currently in the works.
The team’s official Twitter account announced that the new uniforms will be available on Thursday.
