New Browns uniforms look a lot like old Browns uniforms.
Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said the jerseys and socks will look “like a bunch of old uniforms.”
The Browns, who announced plans to retire their iconic uniforms this year, are the only NFL team without a uniform for their home games.
The Browns will wear the white jersey and white socks during the regular season, and the team will wear a gray jersey and gray socks during games.
New Browns players will wear black shorts, black socks and white sneakers during the preseason and games.
Browns coach Hue Jackson said the team is “proud” of the jerseys, and said he expects fans to embrace them.
“They’re going to look like the jerseys we used to play in,” Jackson said.
“I don’t think it’s going to change that much, but I’m excited for them to be able to wear the old uniforms in their new uniforms.”
Haslam and Jackson said they had a lot of fun with the design, and it will be the first time the team has worn a new jersey in more than 20 years.
The team will also wear new shoes.
Haslam also said the new uniforms will look good on fans because they’re designed for “anywhere you go, anytime you go anywhere.”
Hasham said fans will be able “just walk up to a stadium and just be a part of this.”
The new uniforms come on the heels of the Browns losing five of their first six games.
Hasham has been criticized for wearing the old uniform during his last three seasons.
The uniform was worn for the last three games of the 2016 season when the Browns went 6-9 and lost their season finale to the New York Giants.
The Cleveland Browns played the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons at home before the season.
