French soldiers are wearing their own uniforms at home and in combat, but they aren’t the only ones.
The Canadian Press is reporting the uniform worn by soldiers from the Canadian Forces in northern France was designed by the French army and is called the “Ville de France.”
The uniforms, which were worn for three months during the NATO summit in Brussels, Belgium, feature the colors of the French flag, white, red and yellow, and have white ribbons.
“I was very happy with this uniform,” says Serge Pecourt, who is wearing the uniform with his wife, a French army soldier, and their two children.
“The white is the French military color.
The yellow is the flag of Canada.
It’s the flag that represents us.”
The Canadian Forces uniform was designed in collaboration with the Royal Armouries, the armouries that owns the uniforms.
The French army uniform is similar to the Canadian one, except that the French have red ribbons and a red star on the front.
“We had to be creative, but the result was very, very nice,” Pecours said.
He says the uniform has been worn by about 20 French soldiers who are serving in the country’s southern regions.
“It is the uniform of France.
It doesn’t exist in Canada,” he said.
“So it is a real tribute to our French military heritage.”
The uniform was made by the “Pecourte” company of Bordeaux, a company that specializes in military and sporting clothing.
It was worn by the Pecourtes and their son on their first deployment in June.
The soldiers were in France to train at a military academy, which is where they were told they would be deployed to.
The first day, they were called to a barracks, and the commander, who was French, gave them a military uniform and asked them to wear it.
The soldier was wearing the French uniform and the French emblem on his shoulder.
It is a tradition for soldiers in France.
“They were very happy,” said Serge Pécours, who added that he is the second generation of his family to wear the uniform.
“For us, it’s very important to have a military tradition in our family.”
Pecores said he is pleased to be wearing the new uniform and has even been offered a job as a soldier.
“This is our new military identity,” he added.
“There are no uniforms for me, I have to wear my uniform.”
