The Philadelphia Eagles have released a statement to USA Today regarding their “new uniforms” for the 2017 season.
The team announced on Twitter that the uniforms, which debuted in March, will feature a new look and feel, including new jerseys and “allen” helmets, which feature an old-school look and design.
The new uniforms feature “new materials” for a new “trendy look,” the team said.
The new uniforms will also be a more traditional look for the team, the statement said.
The Eagles also said that “the uniform will be available in stores and online through September.”
This year, the team wore white jerseys in the preseason against the New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys, as well as navy jerseys during a home playoff game against the Chicago Bears.
The jerseys feature “an authentic look that was inspired by the Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia 76ers and the city of Philadelphia,” the statement read.
